AFRICA CEO FORUM/OKAN
African Logistics: It's revolution time!

Panel discussions: In Africa, the modernisation of logistics has been under way for the past 15 years, with investments multiplied by three in Subsaharan Africa between 2001 and 2017. Significant efforts have been made in the port sector, allowing the development of world-class hubs such as Tangier Med. Despite this progress, according to a Report published at Paris Infra Week by THE AFRICA CEO FORUM and OKAN, the sector remains insufficiently competitive and sophisticated to support African growth and the creation of the African Continental Free Trade Area and meet the needs of investors and entrepreneurs. Bringing a container from Abidjan to Ouagadougou thus costs about 5000 dollars, against 2500 to bring it from Shanghai to the Ivorian economic capital.
During this session, operators active on the continent will discuss the main priorities to be adopted to modernise the sector, from the role of government to the need for innovation.

> Moderator Frédéric Maury (Editorial Director, AFRICA CEO FORUM)

> Expert Amaury de Féligonde (Partner, OKAN)

  • Marie-Laure Mazaud, Deputy CEO, STOA
