Gregory has extensive project finance experience across various geographies and industries. He has been involved in a number of projects in infrastructure and transportation, power, and oil & gas amongst many other sectors. Selected recent transactions Include:

• Commercial Coordinating bank, Nachtigal hydro project, Cameroon (ongoing)
• Mandated Lead Arranger & Structuring Bank for Oma Power IPP Project, Nigeria (ongoing)
• Financial Advisor to joint venture, Kenya toll road project (ongoing) • NNPC upstream JV financings, Nigeria (2015, 2017)
• Advisor to Indorama Eleme Petrochemicals Ltd. for 1.4MTPA Ammonia-Urea Project in Nigeria, $1.2bn project cost, closed February-2013
• Advisor /Arranger to AES on a Kribi 216 MW gas-fired plant in Cameroon, $350m project cost, closed January-2012
• NGL II, ExxonMobil / NNPC: mid-stream refinancing and expansion, $1.1bn debt, closed January-2011
• Coordinator / MLA to NNPC on a Pre-export facility to finance imports of refined products, $1.5bn 2012

Greg is a well-rounded structured finance professional with a skill-set spanning various activities which are required during advisory assignments (documentation, modelling, syndication, etc.). He joined Standard Chartered Bank in 2009, having previously worked for HSBC in the Project, Export & Acquisition Finance Division. During his five years at HSBC, Greg was also primarily involved with project finance driven work, with continual exposure to leveraged finance transactions (eg. BAA acquisition) and also worked extensively on French PPPs. Greg is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a Master of Philosophy in Finance from Cambridge and a Bsc in Mathematics with Economics from University College London. He is French-American, fluent in both languages.
