Alaric Audard is a Director within the Transportation & Infrastructure advisory practice at Rothschild & Co in Paris, covering all infrastructure debt financing topics. Alaric started his career 11 years ago as a debt advisory specialist after graduating with a Master’s degree in Finance from Sciences Po. He regularly advises both industrial and financial sponsors, in France and internationally, on all infrastructure financing related matters, be it a question of expansion financing (acquisition / capex), refinancing, hedging or restructuring. His experience covers the wide range of infrastructure situations, from transportation and notably roads, airports, railways and car parks, to telecom infrastructure, including optic fibre and tower deals, energy related infrastructure assets and core plus assets. As an independent advisor, Alaric supports clients to help them structure and negotiate the most relevant financing package depending upon their needs and objectives, looking with an agnostic eye at all of the public capital markets, the bank debt market, private institutional investors as well as multilaterals and IFIs. Recently, Alaric advised on SFR FttH capex facility financing as well as LISEA and Zagreb airport refinancing. Rothschild & Co has advised on over 250 transactions across the utility, transport, communications and social infrastructure sectors worth about $400bn since 2004 and on over €70bn of infrastructure financing in the last three years, with a dedicated group of c.50 bankers globally focusing on transport and infrastructure sector only.
