Antoine Troesch, Chief Investment Officer, Banques des Territoires Antoine Troesch started his career as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley in London, then in Paris, spending his time on various projects, especially in the field of energy/utility sector. He actively participated to the Initial Public Offering of EDF, one of the world’s largest utilities, in 2005. He joined AREVA (now ORANO) in 2005 and spent most of his career there, first holding positions in Corporate Strategy department (M&A Manager) and in Operations (Enrichment Business Unit), working on large commercial contracts, development projects in Europe, Asia and North America and industrial restructuring in France. In 2011 Antoine was appointed Head of M&A for AREVA group. His main achievements were a €1.2Bn divestment programme including restructuring of AREVA renewable energy portfolio. From 2015 to 2018, he was Head of Front End division (Chemistry/Enrichment Business Units, €1Bn sales, 2500 employees, 8 nuclear facilities in France) and a member of ORANO Executive Committee, with a strong commitment to defining and executing ORANO recovery plan. Antoine left ORANO end of 2018 to join CAISSE DES DEPOTS Group, as Chief Investment Officer of the newly created Banques des Territoires, a business unit gathering all local economic development tools of CDC. With his teams he manages a €4 Bn portfolio of assets across France in various fields : energy, infrastructure, digital, innovation, real estate, impact investing, etc. Banque des Territoires invests around €1 Bn per year in 150-200 projects, with direct ownership and corporate governance influence. Antoine Troesch graduated as an engineer from Ecole Centrale Paris in 2000 and has obtained a Master in Economics and Finance from Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris in 2001.
