Darko Adamovic is a counsel in the Global Infrastructure & Energy practice at Linklaters LLP in Paris. Mr. Adamovic started his career as an in-house lawyer within the Legal and Transaction Management Group of BNP Paribas in London. Mr. Adamovic studied law at Paris II Assas University where he graduated with a Master’s degree in Business Law and a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance Law.
Mr. Adamovic specialises in project and asset finance. Mr. Adamovic regularly advises sponsors (both industrial and investment sponsors), lenders, multilateral institutions, host governments and contractors on projects in the energy and infrastructure sectors. His experience in the infrastructure sector includes advising on the development and financing of airports, ports, roads, motorways, toll-roads, railways, hospitals and telecoms, among others. His experience in the energy sector includes advising on the development and financing of various power plants, hydropower plants, CCGT, wind, solar, biomass and industrial projects. Mr. Adamovic advises on both the project and finance documentation in France and internationally. Additionally, he has been actively involved in recent years advising on the financing of large privatisations and M&A transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
Admitted to the Paris Bar as Avocat à la Cour, Mr. Adamovic is fluent in French, English and Croatian. Mr. Adamovic is also an author of the France chapter of The Projects and Construction Review.
