Emmanuel GILLET LAGARDE
Global Head of Infrastructure Finance, Natixis
Emmanuel Gillet-Lagarde is Global Head of Infrastructure & Export Finance (IEF) at Natixis. Emmanuel has more than 24 years of experience in Infrastructure and Project Finance.
Emmanuel took global responsibility of Infrastructure Finance, Natixis’ division in charge of debt advisory and structuring for Infrastructure projects, in July 2016. Natixis has been active in Infrastructure for more than 25 years and is in the top 10 globally for Infrastructure debt arranging. IEF has a global footprint through 9 international desks and covers on 4 sectors (Transport & Social Infrastructure, Power & Renewables, Telecom Infrastructure, Natural Resources).
Before becoming Global Head, Emmanuel had headed IEF’s Europe Region since 2013. Previously, he held senior positions in other IEF’s desks (Sydney, Hong Kong and Paris) where he played lead roles on arranging and advisory mandates across various sectors.
Emmanuel started his career in the Project Finance mining team at Credit Lyonnais in 1995, then moved to BNP, based first in Norway and then in France, where he had the opportunity to work across a wide range of sectors (oil & gas, power, infrastructure, telecoms) in the Structured Finance team. At the end of 1998, he moved to Entenial (Allianz Group) to develop the Structured Finance debt activities and established and headed the Telecom team. Emmanuel joined Natixis in 2005.
Emmanuel graduated from EDHEC business school and holds a MBA in Finance from Universidad de Deusto in Spain and a Masters in Financial Engineering from Lyon School of Management.
