After 6 years in airport design and management in France and West Africa, Vincent Piron has been working in Lyon (France) as Head of the State Division in charge of design and construction of motorways, metro and airports. Then he spent 6 years in Cairo as Managing Director for the Cairo metro project. During 20 years Vincent Piron has been working in VINCI Concessions Direction as Strategy and Investment Director. He is specialized in investment evaluation and business plan elaboration in infrastructure projects (airports, toll roads, tunnels and bridges) and in urban planning, from the economic, financing and fiscal aspects. Now he runs his own engineering office “Piron Consulting SAS”, and he is team leader of the Long Term Finance working groups at FIEC (European Construction Industry Federation) He is also developing a software for better project preparation (called SOURCE) supported by World Bank and MDBs and participated to the development of the P-FRAM software (Fiscal Risk Assessment Model) with IMF and WB.
